    Vol. 17 No. 1 (2026)

Administratio: Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Publik dan Pembangunan is pleased to present Volume 17, Issue 1 (2026). This issue brings together seven scholarly articles that examine contemporary challenges and developments in public administration, governance, and public policy in Indonesia. Its editorial significance lies in bringing diverse empirical contexts and analytical perspectives into conversation, highlighting the complex relationships between institutional design, governance practices, public accountability, policy implementation, and societal outcomes. The contributions address defence spending and strategic governance, local autonomy and central–subnational relations, accountability in hybrid zakat governance, public satisfaction with licensing services, digital governance and institutional decoupling, the implementation of election logistics systems, and community-based conservation and sustainable tourism management. Taken together, these studies demonstrate the multidimensional character of public administration and underscore the importance of examining not only formal policy frameworks and institutional arrangements but also their implementation, practical limitations, and implications for public value and sustainable development. By bringing these themes together, the issue encourages comparative reflection across policy sectors and institutional settings while identifying questions for further theoretical development and empirical investigation. It thereby reaffirms Administratio’s commitment to publishing rigorous, relevant, and critical scholarship that advances academic debates and informs administrative practice and public policy. We extend our appreciation to the authors, reviewers, and editorial team for their contributions and invite scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and readers to engage with the articles and build upon their insights in future research and policy discussions.

    Vol. 16 No. 2 (2025)

Administratio: Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Publik dan Pembangunan is pleased to present Volume 16, Issue 2 (2025). This issue features five scholarly articles that explore key challenges in public administration, governance, and public policy in Indonesia, ranging from the selection of census and survey enumerators and public accountability in search-and-rescue operations to strategic readiness in public-sector financing, youth civic engagement through public policy and legal education, and the long-term policy implications of transmigration. The editorial significance of this issue lies in its effort to connect administrative capacity and organisational performance with broader questions of public accountability, institutional preparedness, civic participation, and socio-ecological sustainability. By bringing together empirical case studies, strategic analysis, and systematic review, the issue offers complementary perspectives on how public institutions formulate and implement policies, respond to complex public challenges, and address the evolving needs of society. In particular, the contributions on youth civic engagement and transmigration broaden the discussion beyond conventional administrative performance by foregrounding the structural conditions of citizenship, the long-term consequences of state intervention, and the relationship between public policy and sustainable development. Collectively, these articles contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of public administration as both an institutional practice and a field of critical inquiry, while identifying important avenues for further research and policy development. Through this publication, Administratio reaffirms its commitment to disseminating rigorous, relevant, and critical scholarship that advances theoretical debates and informs evidence-based administrative practice. The editorial team extends its appreciation to all authors and reviewers whose contributions have made this issue possible and invites academics, policymakers, and public-sector practitioners to engage with its findings and build upon its insights.

  • Administratio: Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Publik dan Pembangunan
    Vol. 16 No. 1 (2025)

Administratio: Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Publik dan Pembangunan is pleased to present Volume 16, Issue 1 (2025). This issue features seven scholarly articles addressing contemporary debates in public administration, digital transformation, institutional effectiveness, collaborative governance, and public policy in Indonesia. Its editorial significance lies particularly in its contribution to international scholarly engagement, exemplified by the article “Assessing Digital Innovations in Public Service Delivery of West Java Province versus South Korea and Mexico,” which brings together authors from Indonesia, South Korea, and Mexico to examine digital public service innovation through a comparative perspective. The participation of international authors, including Hye Kyoung Lee from South Korea and Vivian Kadelbach from Mexico, represents an important step in broadening the journal’s international reach and fostering cross-national academic dialogue. Beyond this international dimension, the issue explores public service transformation through bibliometric and institutional analysis, village archives management and good governance, triple-helix collaboration for the socioeconomic empowerment of traditional fishing families, the implementation of Weberian bureaucracy, population education within multilevel governance, and the integration of digital identity into population administration services. Collectively, these contributions connect established administrative theories with emerging governance challenges and practical experiences, offering insights into institutional performance, service innovation, citizen welfare, and the evolving relationship between technology and public administration. By combining domestic empirical research with comparative international perspectives, this issue reinforces Administratio’s commitment to advancing rigorous, relevant, and critically informed scholarship while strengthening its role as a platform for academic exchange across national and disciplinary boundaries. The editorial team extends its sincere appreciation to the authors and reviewers whose contributions have made this issue possible and invites scholars, policymakers, and public-sector practitioners to engage with its findings and pursue further research on the changing dynamics of public administration and governance.

  • Administratio: Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Publik dan Pembangunan
    Vol. 15 No. 2 (2024)

Administratio: Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Publik dan Pembangunan is pleased to present Volume 15, Issue 2 (2024). This issue brings together seven scholarly articles that examine diverse and interconnected dimensions of public administration, public policy, organisational management, and governance in Indonesia. Its editorial significance lies in highlighting the multifaceted challenges facing contemporary public institutions, ranging from foreign policy and environmental sustainability to healthcare provision, digital transformation, regional asset management, and organisational performance. The contributions address deep pluralism in Indonesian foreign policy, strategic management in academic journal publishing, sustainable waste management and its public health implications, universal health coverage within the framework of regional autonomy, digital transformation in government internal supervision, institutional arrangements for optimising regional asset utilisation, and the relationship between incentive provision and employee turnover intention in the private sector. Taken together, these studies extend the discussion of public administration beyond formal institutional structures by examining how policy choices, managerial strategies, technological change, and organisational arrangements shape governance outcomes and public service delivery. The inclusion of research on academic publishing and private-sector human resource management also encourages reflection on organisational effectiveness across different institutional settings, while the articles on healthcare, waste management, and regional assets foreground the practical implications of administrative decisions for public welfare and sustainable development. By bringing these perspectives into a single issue, Administratio seeks to foster critical engagement with the theoretical and practical dimensions of administration and governance and to encourage further empirical investigation into institutional performance and policy implementation. The editorial team expresses its sincere appreciation to the authors and reviewers for their scholarly contributions and invites academics, policymakers, and practitioners to engage with the findings presented in this issue.
