Vol. 16 No. 2 (2025): Administratio: Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Publik dan Pembangunan
Administratio: Jurnal Ilmiah Administrasi Publik dan Pembangunan is pleased to present Volume 16, Issue 2 (2025). This issue features five scholarly articles that explore key challenges in public administration, governance, and public policy in Indonesia, ranging from the selection of census and survey enumerators and public accountability in search-and-rescue operations to strategic readiness in public-sector financing, youth civic engagement through public policy and legal education, and the long-term policy implications of transmigration. The editorial significance of this issue lies in its effort to connect administrative capacity and organisational performance with broader questions of public accountability, institutional preparedness, civic participation, and socio-ecological sustainability. By bringing together empirical case studies, strategic analysis, and systematic review, the issue offers complementary perspectives on how public institutions formulate and implement policies, respond to complex public challenges, and address the evolving needs of society. In particular, the contributions on youth civic engagement and transmigration broaden the discussion beyond conventional administrative performance by foregrounding the structural conditions of citizenship, the long-term consequences of state intervention, and the relationship between public policy and sustainable development. Collectively, these articles contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of public administration as both an institutional practice and a field of critical inquiry, while identifying important avenues for further research and policy development. Through this publication, Administratio reaffirms its commitment to disseminating rigorous, relevant, and critical scholarship that advances theoretical debates and informs evidence-based administrative practice. The editorial team extends its appreciation to all authors and reviewers whose contributions have made this issue possible and invites academics, policymakers, and public-sector practitioners to engage with its findings and build upon its insights.
